On October 7, 2023, the main factory building of the first phase of the Cham Mianyang Base Project was successfully topped out, achieving the phased goal of factory construction.

Cham New Energy Mianyang Base Project is located in the Mianyang Industrial Park in Sichuan, covering an area of 260,000 square meters. The first phase occupies an area of 156,000 square meters and has a construction area of 203,000 square meters. At the construction site, there is a sense of bustling activity, with the main factory building standing magnificent and the main structures of the other buildings already taking shape.

To accelerate the project construction, all personnel have focused on the goal, worked together as a team, and steadfastly stayed in their respective positions to promote project progress. They have held daily meetings and implemented a normalized management mechanism to overcome adverse factors and maximize construction progress. Since the start of the project, they have handled approximately 430,000 cubic meters of earthwork and achieved 5,000 total safe work hours.

According to the construction plan, the main buildings of Buildings 1, 5, 8, 10, and 14 have been completed, while the other seven buildings are under main structure construction. It is expected that all factory and auxiliary buildings will be completed by the end of this year.

Cham New Energy Mianyang Base Project has a total investment of 12 billion yuan. It will build fully automatic battery cell production lines and supporting PACK production lines, as well as plan and construct a manufacturing base for energy storage. Upon full production after completion, it can achieve an annual output value of approximately 30 billion yuan. The completion of the first phase main factory building marks Cham New Energy digital factory entering a fast lane.
