The group standards Reset specification for EV batteries (T/CBHA 002-2022) and Examining & assessment specification for EV batteries (T/CBHA 001-2022), jointly developed by the Zhongguancun New Battery Technology Innovation Alliance, SVOLT Energy Technology, Sino-Russian Engineering Technology Research Institute, and Cham Battery, were officially implemented starting from May 1, 2022.

The formulation of these group standards establishes a comprehensive testing and evaluation system for electric vehicle power batteries. Its significance lies in integrating product quality evaluation into the realm of product circulation management, thereby bolstering the product service system, encouraging market entities to prioritize product quality, fostering comprehensive quality management practices, and leveraging information technology to enhance the oversight of production entities. Ultimately, it establishes a robust mechanism ensuring the fundamental quality and safety of products in the production domain.

On January 15, 2022, the Zhongguancun New Battery Technology Innovation Alliance issued a solicitation letter for the establishment of a group standard working group, seeking industry feedback and convening participating units. Cham Battery, as a leader in the battery industry, promptly joined the group standard working group. Subsequently, Cham Battery participated in multiple rounds of online and offline seminars organized by the standard working group. In April 2022, the draft compilation of the standards was completed.

The introduction of these standards helps further standardize China's electric vehicle power battery testing and evaluation system, providing guidance for domestic related products and enterprises, and promoting the healthy and orderly development of the battery industry.
